White Gold is Aussom’s garlic-butter seasoning — built for steak crusts, shrimp tosses, and scallop finishes where you want savory richness without a heavy BBQ sauce. Mild heat, big aroma, and weeknight-friendly timing make it the rub you reach for when the grill is already hot.
Cast-iron or outdoor grill both work. The key is a dry surface, assertive heat, and restraint: White Gold should perfume the crust, not cake into paste. For stock or pairing questions, call 1-844-4AUSSOM.

Surf & turf glaze option: Finishing Kiss
Why garlic butter belongs on the grill
Steakhouse flavor is usually butter basting at the end. White Gold puts garlic-butter seasoning into the crust from the start, so every slice carries savory notes without waiting on a pan sauce. Seafood cooks so fast that a pre-toss with White Gold is often all you need.
Ingredients (2 steaks + 1 lb shrimp)
- 2 ribeyes or strip steaks, 1–1.25 inches thick
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled
- 2–3 tbsp White Gold Garlic Butter Rub, divided
- 2 tbsp neutral oil plus 1 tbsp butter for the pan
- Lemon wedges and chopped parsley
- Optional finish: a tiny brush of Finishing Kiss on steak edges
Steps — steak
- Pat steaks dry. Light oil, then season generously with White Gold on all sides. Rest 20–30 minutes.
- Hard sear in ripping-hot cast iron or over direct grill heat, about two to three minutes per side depending on thickness.
- Butter baste the last minute if pan-cooking. Rest five to eight minutes before slicing against the grain.
Steps — seafood
- Toss shrimp with oil and 1–1.5 tbsp White Gold.
- Cook hot and fast: one to two minutes per side until just opaque. Do not overcook.
- Finish with lemon and parsley. Scallops follow the same idea: dry surface, hard sear, light White Gold after the flip.
Serving ideas
Slice steak over garlic-butter shrimp for surf and turf. Leftover White Gold is excellent on roasted potatoes, asparagus, and corn. Keep Barbie Sauce or Finishing Kiss nearby if someone wants a sweet BBQ accent — White Gold remains the savory lead from Aussom Shop.
